Glass shades make the illuminated glass part of the design, with the effect depending on its color and transparency. A glass base with a fabric shade gives a more traditional table-lamp appearance and softens the light through the fabric. Choose according to the atmosphere you want and the surrounding furniture.
2. How do clear, colored and frosted glass affect the lighting?
Clear glass leaves the bulb more visible, making bulb shape and brightness important. Colored glass adds a tint that can influence the appearance of the light. Frosted glass spreads the light and softens the view of the bulb.
3. How do I choose the right size for a bedside table or console?
Check the full lamp width, including the shade, against the available tabletop space. Leave room for guest essentials on bedside tables and consider nearby artwork or mirrors on consoles. Postmodernlighting can review your furniture dimensions and suggest suitable lamp proportions.
4. What bulb works best in a clear glass table lamp?
Choose a bulb that fits the lamp holder and stays within the stated maximum wattage. Since the bulb is visible through clear glass, its shape, finish and brightness become part of the overall appearance. Test your preferred bulb in a sample to check the lighting effect from normal viewing positions.
5. Can glass colors and metal finishes be coordinated with our project?

6. Are touch controls and USB charging ports available on every model?
No. These features are available on selected designs and depend on the electrical configuration. We will confirm the controls, charging port type and available functions for your chosen lamps before production.
7. How should glass table lamps be cleaned?
Switch off the lamp and allow it to cool before cleaning. Use a soft cloth on the glass and avoid abrasive products that could damage colored surfaces or metal finishes. Follow the care instructions for the selected model, especially around electrical parts and fabric shades.
8. How are glass table lamps protected during shipping?
Glass parts need protection against impact and movement inside the carton. Postmodernlighting uses protective foam and export cartons, with the packing arrangement adapted to the lamp’s shape and size. We can confirm the packaging details for your selected models before shipment.
9. Can we check a sample before placing the project order?
Yes. A sample lets you compare the glass color, transparency, metal finish and shade fabric with your interior materials. It also helps you check the lighting effect in the intended bedside, console or lounge position.
